Jazz Path releases Sing After Me

Cambridge, Massachusetts - March 27, 2007

Jazz Path Publishing is pleased to announce the release of the new vocal book Sing After Me, written by Brian Kane, the author of Singing Tongue Twisters A-Z. Sing After Me (ISBN 0-9760977-4-5) is a book and CD package that contains ten original echo songs designed to help vocalists ages 6-13 improve pronunciation, range, and vocal independence.

For generations, vocal and choral teachers have used echo songs as an effective warm-up and teaching tool. "Sing After Me is full of funny, useful, and adaptive songs that I guarantee students and teachers will love," said author Brian Kane. "Thanks to the fantastic orchestrations of Emmy® Award winning composer Brad Hatfield and the wonderful vocals of Kerry Maher, the songs come alive and will put a smile on the face of both singers and audiences. The songs are so versatile; they can be used either as warm-ups or as stand alone lessons."

Sing After Me contains a sing-a-long and demonstration CD, reproducible student worksheets, movement, art, and language activities for each song. "I wanted to create a product where teachers could buy one book and supply materials for an entire class without breaking the budget. This book does both."

Sing After Me is available at select music retailers nationwide. A free preview and download of the book is available at www.jazzpath.com.
